But the Government refuses to cover it on Medicare. Both Labor and Liberal take millions in donations from private health insurance companies, and don’t care that everyday Australians are forced to spend so much on dental care.
With balance of power The Greens can get dental on Medicare. In 2010 when the Greens were in shared power with Labor, we got dental into Medicare for 3.4 million kids – but we’re not stopping there! Instead of giving public money to fossil fuel billionaires, the Greens will invest that money in our public health system and include dental in Medicare for the whole population.
Your vote can make the difference. Macnamara is the Green’s next most winnable seat. And winning Macnamara would mean holding the balance of power. From that position, we can finish what we started in 2010 and get dental into Medicare for everyone.
